BMW OEM M TWIN POWER 0W-40 FULL SYNTHETIC 1L
M TwinPower Turbo is a very high performance, full synthetic oil for modern (and highly tuned) BMW turbocharged motors.
BMW M TwinPower 0W-40 carries a LL-01 approval and is ACEA A3/B4 rated. This is the new BMW-approved oil recommended for turbocharged M engines that require extra protection at elevated temperatures. This oil is better suited for M turbo engines than the 0W-30 “Fuel Efficient” oil used in non-M cars.
Tailored perfectly to the high-performance engines of BMW M vehicles. Formulated to provide optimal lubrication, and better protect BMW M engines under extreme performance and racing conditions.BMW OEM M TWIN POWER 0W-40 FULL SYNTHETIC 1L

The BimmerWorld view: It’s too soon to tell if new turbo M engines are having oil issues and need their own oil. It sounds promising that BMW would spec a new oil specific for turbo M engines. We’re not huge fans of 0W oils unless ultimate fuel efficiency or reduced cold-start friction is desired. We prefer to have a heavier weight 5W30 or 5W40 oil with high ZDDP levels that provide superior protection than the latest “fuel efficient” oil formulas.
